Pages 3 & 4 “Please cuddle me, but not too tight,” Purrs Clover happily.
Pages 5 & 6 Archie sings, “Jump, pounce, run…playing is so much fun”,
Pages 7 & 8 “Stop chasing me, I feel scared,” Clover shakily roars.
Pages 9 & 10 You can stand on my back and go for a ride,” Archie comfortingly smiles.
Pages 11 & 12 “Yum, yum, yum ...food in my tum,” Gurgles Clover’s belly. contentedly.
Pages 13 & 14 “Sometimes, when you are playing, I shelter and hide”.
Pages 15 & 16 I don’t like getting soggy and drenched,” whimpers Clover seriously.”
Pages 17 & 18 “When lying on your lap, I like to snooze,” Clover dreamily hums, like a
sleepy motor. Purrr-oom, purrr-oom , purrr-oom.
Pages 19 & 20 Archie tenderly reassures his friend. “I won’t prod you or nudge you
or pull your fur,”
Pages 21 & 22 “Thank you, gentle strokes please,” Clover blissfully sighs whilst
stretching, Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrroooooooooom.
Pages 23 & 24 Clover washes with his long lickie tongue.
Archie splashes himself with bubbles and a sponge.
Pages 25 & 26 Sometimes Archie combs Clover and makes his coat all shiny
and smooth, but Clover whines and moans. Sssssss-ouch!
Pages 27 & 28 But what they both like best is when Clover jumps up….
Pages 29 & 30 …for a squish and a hug and a snuggle.
And they both, purrr-oom, purrr-oom, purrr-oom.
